DESCRIPTION:Honoring our Mother Earth Hike At\nRay Roberts State Park- Isle du Bois Unit\n \nRay Roberts Lake\nMay 23, 2021\nIt is Mother’s Day season and time to hike to give thanks to our Mother, Mother Earth.   We will walk in gratitude for the life all around us, the trees, the scrubs, the insects.  And you can connect to the creative force within you to launch your next big thing.  You will enjoy a mind expanding and physically demanding experience (this is what pushes out of the stuck place and into something much better).  This is a self discovery experience and you will learn self hypnosis, a tool you can use to shift out of a bad mood or bad thought.\nAlthough it is for beginner levels, the distance will be 7 miles…We will be hiking the Elm Fork Trail.\nPLEASE NOTE;\nYou must pay your own entrance day fee to the park, $7 cash at self pay AT TRAILHEAD, or make a reservation and prepay by calling 940-686-2148, or drive to the park headquarters and pay and meet us at the trail head (this will add up to 30 minutes to your timetable, so it is advised you bring cash and pay at trailhead) . We are meeting at the Elm Fork East and West Trailhead which is off FM 455 west of the entrance to the State Park.
