DESCRIPTION:Come walk in nature and celebrate the Harvest Time.\nOctober 3, 2021 10 am – 1 pm\nBrockdale Park in Lucas TX (see below for maps and directions)\n$25\nAbout the tail ( http://www.trinitytrailriders.org/trail-head-info/brockdale/ )\nThis hypnotic hike is a full celebration of the Fall season and your HARVEST.  And to gather energy for the Winter months ahead.\nThe walking meditations will assist you in seeing things from a new perspective. When you need to see things from a different perspective you have to go within and that is what we will do…physically and spiritually.\nAt the half way point we will do a ritual of release to prepare your mind and body for the Harvest season and look with appreciation at what you have created (so far).\n \nAn easy walk (4-5 miles) on the Trinity Trail system near Lavon Lake.  The meeting place is Brockdale Park in Lucas TX. ( http://www.trinitytrailriders.org/trail-head-info/brockdale/ )\nWe will be hiking North towards Highland Park and will stop along the shore of Lavon Lake for a break and Fall celebration.\nPDF WAIVER- 20210622 General Liability Waiver ( https://valeriegrimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/20210622-General-Liability-Waiver.pdf )\nPDF WHAT TO BRING-What-to-bring-on-my-hike ( https://valeriegrimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/What-to-bring-on-my-hike.pdf )\nDRIVING DIRECTIONS\nTo get to Brockdale Park Trail from US 75:\nExit on Bethany Drive in Allen and go east.\nTake Bethany Drive through Allen into Lucas (about 5 miles).\nContinue straight through on Bethany Road, the road changes its name to East Lucas Road and intersects with FM 1378.\nGo through the traffic light straight on Lucas Road.\nIn about ½ mile, when the road makes a sharp curve, you will see the Lucas Food Mart on your left and a traffic light.\nTurn left here at stop light on FM 3286 (aka W. Lucas Road) .\nGo less than a mile to Brockdale Park Road. It turns off to the right.\n(If you get to the bridge over Lake Lavon you have gone too far.)\nFollow Brockdale Park Road around to the trail head.\nYou will drive through three 90-degree turns. The trail head is immediately past the 3rd 90-degree turn on the right and is bordered by white pipe fence.\nIf you get to the boat ramp you have gone too far.\n
